Dr Aleena Waheed

Dr Aleena Waheed graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Honours from the University of Health Sciences in Pakistan, and has now Fellowed in the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Waheed has extensive experience in the hospital system with training in internal medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, cardiology, nephrology and ICU. Dr Waheed moved into general practice in 2015 and enjoys the continuity of care for her patients and a better work-life balance.

Dr Waheed has completed training in Mental Health Skills and Women’s Health, which allows her to manage patients under a comprehensive plan for complete care. Dr Waheed has a special interest in internal medicine, particularly diabetes care, cardiology, psychology and women’s health.

In her spare time, Aleena loves studying, cooking and curled up with a book reading.
