Dr Gabi Modenesi

Dr Gabi Modenesi graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. She worked for two years in rural General Practice in Brazil, then relocated to Australia in 2014, worked in several public hospitals, and gained experience in various specialties, including paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, palliative care, renal, and psychiatry.

Dr Modenesi joined the rural GP training program in 2020, working towards a Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine with advanced skills in Emergency Medicine. She worked for two years in Emergency Departments in Bendigo and Echuca before joining the team at Campaspe Family Practice.

In her spare time, Gabi enjoys spending time with her family and friends and walking/playing with her lovely border collie, Ginger.
