Dr Hao Xiao

Dr Hao Xiao completed a Master of Science in Toxicology and Pharmacology at Queen's University, Ontario, Canada. He moved to Australia in 2012 to study medicine at the University of Melbourne. Dr Xiao completed further training at Western Hospital, Echuca Hospital and Stawell Medical Center before moving into General Practice in 2021.

Dr Xiao has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, emergency medicine, and mental health. He is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. This means that he has successfully completed a high level of training with the College and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer. He also has a certificate of Advanced Skin Cancer and Advanced Dermoscopy. He can perform full body skin checks and complex skin procedures such as cyst removal, skin cancer excision and skin grafts.

Hao grew up in Canada but moved with his family to Australia in 2012 and now lives in West Footscray and Kyneton. He enjoys playing board games and the guitar in his spare time.
