Dr Laya Sattartabar

Dr Laya Sattartabar graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Iran. She went on to work in Iran for four years as a GP before relocating to Australia in 2015. Dr Sattartabar worked in general practice clinics in Melbourne and Ararat before settling in Kyneton at Campaspe Family Practice and is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Dr Sattartabar enjoys many aspects of general practice but has a special interest in women’s health, dermatology and chronic disease management.

In her spare time, Laya enjoys playing tennis, pilates, walking, reading and movies. She is fluent in English, Persian and Turkish.
