Dr Rafal Hirmiz

Dr Rafal Hirmiz started in General Practice in 2019. Dr Hirmiz has completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma in Women's Health. She is interested in chronic disease management, women's health, children's health and mental health. Dr Rafal enjoys the breadth of presentations in General Practice and building relationships with individuals and families. Having worked previously in the Macedon Ranges at Brooke Street Medical Centre, Dr Hirmiz knows the area well.

She is currently working and undertaking training two days per week in her special interest in sexual health with Australia's oldest HIV and LGBTIQ+ health organisation, Thorne Harbour Health.

Regardless of your sexual orientation or gender identity, she offers a safe and inclusive space to discuss health issues, such as :

  • Family planning.

She can provide treatment in consultation with a multidisciplinary team that can involve a sexual health physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, and endocrinologist.
